The DNA Company Adds New Avalon Evolved NLP Practitioner Certification to DNA University
New program expands DNA‑U practitioner education with tools for communication, behavior change and whole‑person client support
Corona, California, USA, September 1, 2026 – The DNA Company added New Avalon’s Evolved NLP (ENLP) Practitioner Certification to its DNA University online education platform, expanding the training available to coaches, therapists, health and wellness practitioners, and other professionals who work with clients on behavioral change.
DNA University (DNA‑U) now offers this program through its online university with ongoing enrollment. The University is built specifically to train healthcare providers, practitioners, and business leaders in precision wellness, epigenetics, and functional genomics. It provides education in functional genomics to help practitioners understand genetic information and apply those insights in their work with clients. ENLP extends that education into communication and behavior change.

Wood said genetic information can help practitioners better understand biological individuality. Practitioners also need effective ways to communicate that information and help clients use what they learn.
The ENLP program teaches practitioners tools involving language, beliefs, values, goal‑setting and behavioral patterns. The training also draws on contemporary understanding of neuroplasticity, nervous‑system regulation, attention, memory, habit, emotion, neurodiversity and mind‑body interaction.
The program takes a trauma‑conscious approach. Practitioners learn to consider whether behaviors that appear resistant or self‑sabotaging may serve adaptive or protective purposes. The training emphasizes client agency, nervous‑system awareness, practitioner self‑awareness and appropriate collaboration or referral.
“The real opportunity here is precision,” said Kelley Oswin, R.S.W., co‑creator of New Avalon. “Every person brings a unique biology, nervous system, history, identity, beliefs and behavioral patterns to the change process.”
Oswin said combining Evolved NLP with DNA University gives practitioners a more individualized way to understand the factors that influence behavior and help clients put what they learn into practice. It allows practitioners to consider more than one dimension of an individual.
In agreement, Wood said her own experience with NLP has shown her its potential to help people move beyond patterns that may be holding them back.
Wood said New Avalon’s longstanding reputation in the NLP community played an important role in DNA‑U’s decision. She also stressed the importance of credible education in a field where practitioners can encounter pseudoscientific claims.
The Evolved NLP Practitioner Certification serves coaches, therapists, health and wellness practitioners, and other professionals seeking practical tools for communication, behavior change and whole‑person client support.
Graduates receive an Evolved NLP Practitioner Certification from New Avalon. The American Association of Natural Wellness Practitioners recognizes New Avalon, and graduates can apply for AANWP board certification as Evolved NLP Practitioners.
Students can complete the curriculum in approximately 10 to 12 weeks. Trainers provide six months of coaching and support while students complete their certification requirements.
